Cottage Info
For anyone wondering, it's gonna be Friday July 1st. We leave at 5am so pack the night before.
-Costs are divided up as we go, for example, if we need food then everyone throws money into the bill. This way we each only pay for what we use, like how some people shouldn't have to chip in for meat. So having said this it's best to have some cash because swiping steve's ass crack with your card doesn't always work so well.
-Cars. I have no idea how many cars we need or if we may have to do a road trip out to London the night before. Either way, Steve is driving and so am I. With any luck I'll have room for two and steve will have room for 4. We may need a third car so anyone who wants to drive tell me.
-Sleeping Arrangements. Bring a tent if you have one. if you have more than one then bring that too. If you want to sleep in the cottage that fine but hopfully we'll have enough tents.
-Food. We buy food up there to minimize what we have to travel with. This is part of the reason for leaving early in the morning.
-Booze and Recreational Drugs. we need lots. I can't stress this enough. Lots.
ANYONE WHO DECIDES NOT TO PAY DOESN'T EAT. SIMPLE. I WON'T MENTION NAMES BUT IT HAS HAPPENED. BETTER YET, IF YOU DON'T PAY YOU WILL BE EATEN.

I think a certain amount of pre-payment is a good thing this year. Just to make sure that there is some cash to work with considering that it looks like this may be a bigger than usual trip up there.
And we perfected grilling meat last year, so cooking non-payers is just a good challenge for this year!

But I thought you were driving, Frost. . .how will you ride in the 'Stang?
I don't think I'll be able to come, guys. I work Wed - Sat. I can't just take time off work, I don't get holidays until after a year, plus I can't afford losing two days of pay. I will try to swing something but I have no promises.

I was just joking about driving up in Slicks car. I am 99% sure that I will need to drive, so I dont really get a choice. It will probably be more comfortable in my car, but the Mustang is fun...if only my dad buys that 'stang and I could drive it up :-). Now that would be sweet (especially since its a convertible, and nothing says long drive or roadtrip like a convertible)

I think if everyone put some money in a pot upfront that wouldn't be a horrible idea. Like if we start with 30 bucks a person or something and then if that isn't enough to cover all of it then we can go from there.

sure, we can go with 30 up front and any extra we can pay as we go. So bring some extra cash in case we need to spend more. Hopefully we won't need more but who knows. It has pretty consistantly been around $30 in the past but I wouldn't count on that being all this year. It all depends on how many people show up.

where exactly is this cottege... and money shouldnt be an issue .. i was expecting more like 50 a person + extras (wink wink)
if you all need me to pick up some of the best chron in the gta let me know... i can have it delivered anywhere... also i love to cook for those that dont know... i look forward to cooking for you all .. simply because i can (that and i de-test cleaning up.
also keep in mind that i am a large fellow who will probably need some room in a car... but hey what can i say... to get the hulk you need to out uop with the bulk... i cant believe i just said that
what else to say......... i might have a bbq some time in may if any of you can make it to the r- hill the 2nd weekend (friday) of may... let me or farbsy know...
